This hand painted ‘Ford Genuine Parts Service & Repair’ sign is both tactile and aesthetically attractive and is a copy of a historic dealership sign.

The panel is 6mm MDF measuring 21 cm x 30 cm with white lettering on a blue gloss background.

I painted this sign, using traditional signwriting techniques and products, skills which I learnt many years ago, then reluctantly discarded; a lost love I have recently rekindled.

Being hand painted this sign is unique, individual and its characteristics in the lettering and artwork reflect my own ability with a brush as no part of it was machine printed.

I use salvaged panel materials when appropriate to add aesthetically qualities to my signs and to also help the planet.
