This elegant hand painted Nantucket Whale sign makes a unique and eye-catching piece for our home decor. All aspects of this sign are hand painted and then paintwork is then slightly distressed. The sign is made of Mdf and has a varnished satin finish. The sign can be either wall mounted or free standing, this 21 cm x 30 cm and is perfect for any room and adds a touch of vintage charm to your home decor.

I painted this sign, using traditional signwriting techniques and products, skills which I learnt many years ago, then reluctantly discarded; a lost love I have recently rekindled.

Being hand painted this sign is unique, individual and its characteristics in the lettering and artwork reflect my own ability with a brush as no part of it was machine printed.

I use salvaged panel materials when appropriate to add aesthetically qualities to my signs and to also help the planet.
